I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in 1984. After completing a surgery internship at Tallinn Mustamäe Hospital, I worked as a general surgeon until 1991 when the opportunity arose to develop further and work in Finland.
In 1998 I completed my residency in surgery, traumatology, and orthopedics at the Helsinki University Hospital and started working at the largest trauma center in the Nordics, Töölö Hospital.
Since 2006 I have had a practice at private clinics – Diacor, Mehiläinen, and finally Terveystalo, where I still receive patients to this day.
After a total of 30 years at Finnish medical institutions, my experience in the field of general orthopedics and traumatology is extensive. I´m specialized in shoulder and knee arthroscopy.
To keep honing my craft and offer the best possible care, I regularly attend trainings with the world’s best professionals as well as orthopedic congresses around the globe. I take a lot of pride in my work and will do my utmost to help every patient of mine.
